In addition to our in-house team of safety professionals, the LaSalle Five-Point Safety Plan enables every team member to play a vital role in protecting the health, safety, and well-being of all who enter our job sites by complying with federal, state, local, and company policies and procedures.
Project managers and superintendents are required to have:
Site specific safety orientations are given to all employees and subcontractors when arriving on-site. This orientation include a review of current conditions and allows our safety officers to respond to any and all safety questions our team may need to address.
All site team members have all necessary emergency and non-emergency phone numbers for personnel specific to each job along with the designated routes and information to all shelter areas on-site.
LaSalle maintains up-to-date certifications to work in a variety of different safety environments including, ISN, Avetta, HAZWOPER, PPE, etc.
Numerous standard training requirements for all on-site safety personnel includes the following:
Daily and/or weekly safety audits, toolbox talks, safety stand-downs, daily equipment inspections and safety luncheons are part of our safety commitment at every step of the project. Our team encourages the sharing of “lessons learned”. Constant engagement from our workers helps improve overall safety and reduce and eliminate preventable incidents.
