Description: General Motors awarded LaSalle a $18,000,000.00 general contract to renovate the 500,000 s.f. Cadillac Building. After being demolished down to the outer shell, the building was completely rebuilt and became the home of General Motors Worldwide Purchasing as well as five of General Motors Vice Presidents. Every detail was meticulously gone over from the state of the art Worldwide Video Conference Rooms, down to which way the grain would run on the zebra wood custom wall panels used in the main lobbies. As detailed and complicated as the project was, LaSalle met the owners challenge and completed the project on time in 10 months. |
